Terms & Conditions (summary)

By booking a place on any course, workshop, class, or programme with Inner Resourcing (Helen Dillon), you agree to the following simple terms.

1. What you’re buying

You are booking a place on an educational and experiential learning service delivered online or in person, depending on the specific offering.

These services are not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment.

2. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of booking unless you are using an agreed instalment plan. If you choose instalments, you agree to complete all payments.

3. Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel and receive a full refund up to 14 days before the start date of the course or programme.

If you book within 14 days of the start date, your statutory cooling-off rights apply. If the service begins during this period and you take part, you may only be refunded for any part not yet delivered.

After the service has started, refunds are not usually given.

If you are unable to attend, you may request a transfer to a future course or programme. This is offered at our discretion and subject to availability.

4. Missed sessions

If you miss a session, you may be offered a recording if one is available. Sessions are not repeated individually.

5. Responsibility

This course is educational and not a substitute for therapy or medical support. You are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after sessions.

6. Group agreement

You agree to participate respectfully and keep anything shared by other participants confidential. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the course.

7. Changes or cancellation

If a session needs to be rescheduled, you will be informed. If the course is cancelled before it begins, you will receive a full refund.

For full legal wording, see the detailed Terms & Conditions below.

Terms and Conditions

(The full version)

1. Contracting parties

These Terms and Conditions apply to all courses, workshops, classes, and programmes (“Services”) provided by Helen Dillon, trading as Inner Resourcing (“the organiser”).

By purchasing or booking any Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Description of services

Services provided are educational and experiential in nature and may include live online or in-person group teaching, guided practices, and supporting materials.

Services are not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment and should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health or medical care.

3. Consumer rights (UK law)

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase.

Where services begin during this period at your request, you acknowledge that:

  • You may lose the right to a full refund once delivery has begun
  • You are liable for the value of services provided up to the point of cancellation

By purchasing, you request that the service begins on the stated course start date.

4. Fees and payment

  • Full payment is required at booking unless an instalment plan is offered
  • Instalment plans must be completed in full regardless of attendance
  • Failure to complete payments may result in suspension of access

5. Refunds and cancellation

  • In addition to your statutory rights, you may cancel your booking and receive a full refund up to 14 days before the scheduled start date of the Service.
  • Where a booking is made within 14 days of the start date, the statutory cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 applies. If the Service begins within this period at your request, you acknowledge that you may be liable for the proportion of the Service already delivered.
  • After the Service has started, refunds are not normally provided except where required by law.
  • Requests to transfer to a future Service may be considered at the organiser’s discretion and are subject to availability.

6. Delivery of services

  • Sessions are delivered live online via Zoom or equivalent platform
  • You are responsible for your own access to suitable technology and internet connection
  • If a session cannot be delivered due to organiser issues, it will be rescheduled or alternative arrangements made where reasonably possible

7. Missed sessions

  • Recordings may be provided where available but are not guaranteed
  • Sessions are not repeated for individual participants

8. Digital materials and intellectual property

All materials remain the intellectual property of Inner Resourcing.

They are provided for personal use only and must not be:

  • Shared
  • Copied
  • Recorded (without permission)
  • Used for commercial or teaching purposes

9. Participant responsibility

This is an educational programme. You are responsible for your own participation and wellbeing.

It is not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic care.

10. Group conduct

You agree to:

  • Participate respectfully
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Avoid disruptive behaviour

The organiser reserves the right to remove participants where necessary. Any refund in such cases will reflect statutory rights and services already delivered.

11. Changes or cancellation by organiser

The organiser may:

  • Make reasonable changes to timing or delivery
  • Reschedule sessions if required
  • Cancel the course if necessary

If the course is cancelled before start, a full refund will be issued, or you may choose to transfer to another course or later class. If cancellation occurs after start, refunds will be calculated on services delivered.

12. Data protection

Your data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR and used only for course administration unless you consent otherwise.
